Who created Sketchbook Illustrated?

Hi! My name is Alpesh Patel, BA . I’m a fully qualified Coventry based graphic designer and illustrator. I created Sketchbook Illustrated in 2010. I’m essentially a one man band and handle all aspects of my business, from actual project work, to admin, to marketing etc. I am a registered sole trader working under the business name Sketchbook Illustrated, so, throughout the site I will use the term ‘we’ and ‘our’ (It seems less pretentious than the constant use of ‘I’ haha).

Our aim is to produce high quality design and illustration solutions at affordable prices – making good design accessible for start up businesses and sole traders who may have a limited budget. It brings us a great sense of fulfilment watching these businesses then flourish with corporate identity created by us.

We also love when our illustration work is used as gifts for loved ones. It’s a great feeling to be a part of something like that and to know our work is being displayed proudly in your homes.
